GGPoker does not pay $ 11 bonus to Belarusians
Exactly. Its a business decision. They dont expect enough profit in return for offering this sign-up bonus in Belarus. Could be people cheating by creating extra accounts in the name of their friends. But it could also just be to many people signing up, recieving the bonus and then never playing enough regular games to pay significant rake, before they withdraw the free money. In a rich country few people will bother to sign up on a gambling site just to get their hold on 11$, but in a country like Belarus it might be different.
This is not the first thread, where someone complain about this kind of «discrimination». We have also seen people complain, why 888 Poker has a weekly 300$ CC freeroll only for canadian players, or the new monthly 1.000$ CC freerolls on Pokerstars for select countrys. And its rather puzzling to me, why so many people think, poker sites owe them freerolls or bonuses. Where does this entitlement come from?
And finally if you are a «for profit» player, why do you even care about an 11$ sign-up bonus? If you are winning money at the tables, then why does the poker site need to give you rewards? In the long run it also benefits you, that they target their reward programs to attract more losing players to the site.
So even I cant play it, I love the weekly 300$ CC freeroll for canadian player. This and other promotions help to attract more canadians to 888 Poker, and in general this is making the games better. Of course not all canadian players are huge fish, but there is a way higher percentage of true recreational players among the canadians on 888 than among the players from Belarus.
