Osiris Casino is BLACKLISTED!! – 5 Members Said ‘terrible’
Having launched in 2014, it didn’t take too long for Osiris Casino’s true colors to shine through, and unfortunately, the LCB team is not pleased. In fact, the site has officially landed on our warning list.
This decision stems from its affiliation with AffPower…
…a casino group discovered to have been authorizing disappointing business practices, such as the inclusion of unlicensed games. This online casino, along with several others have been blacklisted as a result.
Among its blacklisted sister sitesare Cosmik, Deuce Club, and Atlantic Casino Club, and we can no longer support registration to Osiris of any related brands. The site is targeted at the French market, and an integrated platform is used to power its games.
In our previous review of this casino…
…we reported that pirated Novomatic’s games were discovered across this group. They were initially given the benefit of the doubt after making the effort to remove the unlicensed games, upon being contacted by a representative from our team.
…if you’re familiar with the saying, ‘once a cheat, always a cheat,’ we feel that’s a pretty accurate way to describe this brand. While the Novomatic content was taken down, it wasn’t long before pirated NetEnt’s titles turned up, and this was the last straw for us.
The fake games were discovered following a close inspection of the titles’ subdomains, along with slight details differing from the genuine version of the game for further proof, including smaller jackpots.
In May 2016, the company apparently started removing the pirated games from their network, but the damage was done.
To make things even worse…
…the brand is connected to a group of affiliates that are notorious for spamming search engines, including Google. Such spammed pages were disguised via machine-generated spam.
Why is this such a big deal?
Spammed pages contained a mass amount of links to sites like LCB. Even if we didn’t put them there and have anything to do with it…
…once these links hit Google’s radar, the engine might assume we’ve initiated a campaign to push our site in an unauthorized manner, which is a ground for penalization.
AffPower was and is fully aware of these attacks on affiliates like us, as well as the potential damage. Still, it refuses to cut collaboration with the spammers. That doesn’t only make us suspect that the brand’s support such actions, but also endorses them financially.
A continued connection with shady practices such as this and not respecting their affiliates leaves little to none room for redemption.
In addition to unlicensedgames…
…players experienced several other disappointments while playing at this casino. One particular member warned others to “tread lightly here and be incredibly cautious” since the venue is a part of the infamous group of sites. The member added the players should also expect slow or non-payments and even winnings played out in increments for no particular reason.
In other comments about this venue…
…users have reported an inability to claim bonuses, unexpected removals of winnings from account balances, as well as a lack of response from customer support. The overall rating was quite low even before it was put on the warning list and then blacklisted.
…it doesn’t have a bad reputation only throughout our network. The same goes for the rest of the iGaming community. Every reliable reviewing site has marked this casino with at least one red flag. It is backlisted from many of them, and players are advised to stay away from it, as well as its sister sites.
Speaking of its sister site…
…a group of casinos associated with AffPower have earned a position on our blacklist. The main reason was that all of these venues including Cosmik, Park Lane, AtlanticCasinoClub, EuroMoon, Cashpot and Deuce Club, have been presenting fake NetEnt’s titles.
Add to that a predatorial T&C of the Osiris Casino, as another reason why players are advised to stay away from this gaming hub, as well all AffPower sites. By the words of one casino reviewing authority: “This is a group that players should avoid like the plague”.
Questionable Terms and Conditions
Many of the operator’s T&C are jumping out of the industry’s standards. Although not all of them are predatory, they certainly are unfavorable to players.
Such terms include following rules regarding what constitutes as irregular play:
- Placing total bets equal to or greater than 30% of the value of the smallest deposit currently in play is considered as irregular play. This includes purchasing in-game features (including but not limited to extra spins) with a total bet amount of 30% or greater than the value of the deposit. “Due to extensive game manipulation, this applies to all players, regardless if they have any bonus or not”.
- Placing wagers that are 30% or more than the value of the bonus (the smallest one among them) currently in play within the bonus wagering requirements are fulfilled is considered as irregular playing activity. Same goes for placing total bets equal to or greater than 30% of the value of the smallest cashback bonus currently in play.
- Placing total bets equal to or greater than 30% of the sum of the comp points redeemed is also deemed as irregular gameplay, as well as bets equal to zero, hedge betting or low margin bets. They will all be considered as Irregular Play.
Just to be clear…
…mathematically, the chances for a player to gain an advantage over the house using bet size alone are equal to zero. So, it seems like these rules aren’t imposed to protect the house at all.
…the player’s account is deemed inactive after just 180 days with no activity, which is way below the industry’s average. Another thing that’s below the average is a maximum monthly withdrawal limit of up to €5,000. On the other hand, the minimum withdrawal amount is set at €100 which is on the high side.
There’s no question as to why we advise players to steer clear of this casino and its sister brands. The fact is, they can’t be trusted.
They were given a chance to right their wrongdoing, and upon seemingly taking the high road, have returned to shady old tricks. Our advice to players – stay away from Osiris Casino and all brands connected to its operator and owner.
